"A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better than what we had the privilege of enjoying here thank you to the hosts who share their slice of paradise"

"A little haven, idyllically set in the middle of a vineyard. Great heated lap pool. Very good wifi and TV. Owner even left milk and a bottle of his own Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge. We spent quite some hours touring the local vineyards by car and bike. "

"Very nice batch in a great location surrounded by forest . The loop track is 1,5 hours and gives you access to the native bush and a nice pool to cool down. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. "

"The unit was a great layout, good location, had everything we needed. However unfortunately there was a strong musty smell when we first entered & lingered the whole time. Whenever the place was closed up for a few hours, when we re-entered it was really strong again. Quite disappointing "

"Beautiful view of Pelorus Sound. Short drive from Havelock. Local beach not awesome for swimming but a short drive to good swimming in Anakiwa. Good hiking and MTB tracks close by. House was very well appointed. Spotty cell service and no wifi."

"The view was absolutely stunning. We spent every afternoon and evening enjoying the view and listening to the local birds. Kitchen was well equipped as was the linen cupboard which made our stay very easy. We had an amazing time thank you! "

"Lovely location, tucked away in Grovetown. Owners house is on the same site about 50 metres away. Very tidy and in excellent condition. Bach is not the building in the photo, but a part of the bottom floor - doesn't have a kitchen as such - just bench. So cooking is plug in electic hob and bench oven. No water in kitchen, so food, washing is all to be done in thebasin in bathroom next to the toilet - which is a bit of a pain if people are in the bathroom."

"Amazing spot with excellent facilities! Bach is set up perfectly with everything you need, full size fridge and freezer great shower.Perfect spot for some peace and quiet, kids had a ball catching cod and kawai from the jetty.Highly recommend "

"We absolutely loved the tranquility and location of this unit. We were really ready to simply rest and relax in a beautiful spot at this point in our vacation and this was perfect for our family of four. Everyone had privacy but it was also well provisioned for a family. Be aware that it isn't close to much so be sure to get groceries on your way there because once you're there you won't want to leave."

"Spacious house with all the bits that you need for a comfortable stay. The dishwasher and sun shade were brilliant, lots of games and DVD's. Absolutely stunning views!A lovely (but steep) bush walk to the cove which was beautiful. The listing said 'private beach cove' which we thought was going to be from the property and no one else there but others do access it.Over all we had a wonderful stay."

"This holiday home was perfect for us! A very clean, comfortable and spacious house, caters to all ages and what a gorgeous spot! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recomend and we would stay again. Only other feedback would be extra towels, bath mats, tea, and coffee would be appreciated as there were 9 of us staying for 3 nights."
