"This hotel is a real gem. We had a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of the lake. We never had dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and all delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We also each had a Triglav Massage which was amazing. It’s a short walk down to the lake (though it’s uphill on the way back) - approx. 30min walk by the lake into town. We really enjoyed our stay here. "

"We loved the traditional nature of the property and of course its position in relation to the lake. It is really handy for everything and the views off the balcony are excellent. I enjoyed a nice swim although it is just a pool for relaxation really and not large enough for proper swimming. Hot tub with a view lovely though. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we wanted to explore the town, so can’t comment on food more generally. A couple of lovely little touches that we really appreciated - a little leaving gift at reception and small postcards on reception that that hotel will mail for you free of charge. Overall a really nice stay - we would come again. "

"Booked this place before I read some pretty negative reviews about it, was slightly apprehensive but the stay turned out to be fine. I agree with some other reviews that this is more a one-star than a four-star place. The room could definitely use some refreshing but the location is great (near the lake, some restaurants and shops, and there are supermarkets within a short walk), and the receptionist was exceptionally helpful and polite, and breakfast was ok. Found it overall acceptable for the price. If you prefer something nicer there are other more pricy options around the area."
