"Quick, cheap and simple hotel with free on-site parking. Easy 20 minute walk into Puy-en-Velay. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Only minor issue was the lack of air conditioning but the hotel were aware of this and looking to add it in the future."

"This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location and surroundings are stunning and the rooms have been organised with great thought. Breakfast as others have mentioned is a great start to the day with freshly made pastries and bread and home made jams. Sitting out on the terrace was lovely and 2 nights was not enough. The addition of roaming ducks, chickens and cats made our stay a memorable one and we can’t wait to return."

"We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them. "
