A few places fairly close for meals and drinks. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast options. "

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"We stayed at Student Factory for 3 nights. This is a new apartment block near Gare St Jean. There are parking buildings around or you can find some street parking. The building is a little hard to find at first. The apartment we started in had a bad leak, but they changed us to another one. Nice and warm and good views. Bed was great, very comfortable - kitchen was very basic but had some plates and cutlery and a couple of saucepans. Staff were very helpful and we would definitely stay again. "

The only thing that was really great was its location - the public transportation is literarily in front of the hotel, the tram is on-time and a day pass is $5 euro, it takes you anywhere in the city..."
