"Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. The owner is super-friendly and was reachable throughout our stay. The cottage is well-equipped and quickly feels like home. The fireplace cannot be beat on a chilly fall evening and easily made up for the lack of a TV. Cell coverage was good for us throughout our stay. A couple of things to note in the description: There are two bathrooms but only the downstairs one has a shower. The laundry in the cottage is not for guest use, though laundry service is available. We would definitely come here again."

"Amazing room, wasn’t expecting to get our room upgraded to a suite. First time staying in the suite but definitely wont be our last! Very quiet area and convenient to grab some dinner and go back to your room for the evening. The home port is our go to any time we’re staying in Lunenburg "
