"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"Our stay was exceptional. From check the staff were amazing. Friendly helpful couldn't do enough for you. Room was beautiful. Very clean with everything you would need for a stay. Had a meal in the restaurant witch was again above expectation. Again the staff were excellent. Overall can't fault our stay. Definitely 5 stars. Definitely be back and would highly recommend "

Ensure you take a screenshot of your booking confirming the inclusion of a free breakfast, as we were informed after our evening meal that it wasn’t included, resulting in an additional on top of the £200 room rate we already paid through hotels.com. "Once over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging. There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff. Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the “ Inn on the Tay”! will definitely revisit & highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely experience! Mark & Kirsten."

"More like a B&B than a hotel which was very nice. Room was a good size and clean. Great water pressure in the shower unlike some of the other hotels that we stayed. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included with the room but I was unaware of this until we were departing. I would stay there again."

"Wonderful Haven of comfort and great food. Great stay, made extremely welcome and their oh so comfortable beds meant we both got a great night's sleep. If you are eating there do try the rump steak it is superb. Excellent choices for breakfast for us GF folk too. We shall be back soon. 5🌟"

"Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house"

Only issue was we never saw that we where to put down the electricity reading on the evening we arrived as it was later at night and it was only on the last day we realised we where to also pay for our electricity. Apart from that the cabin was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect distance from Glenshee"
