"Absolutely loved it. I stayed in room 12. It's a beautiful room, big bed, excellent bathroom boasting villeroy and boch sanitaryware. From the moment i walked in, i had a lovely friendly greeting and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch..i had eggs benedict for breakfast both mornings and highly recommend it. It's a lovely pub with a working waterwheel outside and a cosy log burner which i enjoyed sitting by whike reading a book and having a drink. My only gripe...

"We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Breakfast was a tasty feast to set you up for the day with friendly and helpful owners looking after us. The first thing that struck us both on arrival (towards end of November) were the Christmas decorations which were amazing. "

"We absolutely loved our time here. We had deer peering through the window on the first night and saw a herd on top of a nearby hill too. There were buzzards nesting in a nearby tree and I even saw a pine marten while sat by the burn one evening, so it’s great if you love nature. The location is great - it feels very remote - and Bob was super helpful and informative. The hot tub, fresh eggs from the chickens, a lovely garden area - it’s was a great stay and we’d love to head back."
