This cozy retreat offers everything you need: a full kitchen, dining area, living space, and a full bathroom, complemented by a charming winding staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and a Keurig, perfect for those who prefer a little coffee or a full pot to start their day. The kitchen is fully functional, fridge, & oven. The cottage comfortably sleeps everyone with three bedrooms.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides—truly a sight to behold. If you’re lucky, you might spot whales, dolphins, seals, or even a massive 500-pound sunfish basking in the bay.
It’s just a short walk to the water and the lighthouse, ideal for peaceful strolls and stunning scenery. For the adventurous, the Black Rock community trails offer over 16 km of well-maintained, signposted hiking and mountain biking paths. With options ranging from easy to challenging, you can choose your own path and immerse yourself in nature.
Entertainment options abound with a DVD player and a large selection of movies. The cottage features high-speed 5G fiber optic internet, and the Smart TV allows you to mirror cast your favorite programs.
The Annapolis Valley is a wine lover’s paradise, with numerous wineries just a short drive away. During harvest season, you can also enjoy self-picking strawberries, blueberries, peaches, and, of course, apples. Why not make a day of touring the vineyards and savoring the local flavors?
The cottage is available for weekly rentals only, with Saturday check-in at 4 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m.
Located near Berwick, Kentville, and New Minas, the property is close to numerous attractions, including whale-watching tours, golf courses, a zoo, and a children’s amusement park. The famous Harbourville Fish Market is just a short drive away, offering fresh seafood—including lobster. (Fun fact: In July 2024, we saw a lobster as big as a Jack Russell terrier for just $75!)
Nature lovers will adore the wildlife—don’t be surprised if a mother deer and her fawns stroll past your window. And the night sky? Absolutely breathtaking over the bay. On rare occasions, you might even witness an approaching thunderstorm rolling in from New Brunswick.
Halifax is just an hour away, as well as Lunenburg. If you visit Halifax, be sure to explore the scenic waterfront trail, lined with eateries and shops offering unique mementos of your trip. You can also take a guided tour of the Governor’s official residence and witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony.
Lunenburg is another must-visit destination, boasting charming eateries and curio shops. While in Halifax, a short drive will take you to Peggy’s Cove, one of the most iconic and picturesque spots in the province. And if you’re looking for some family fun, there’s a fantastic water park near Halifax to cool off and enjoy the summer sun.
