"The staff at this hotel were absolutely exceptional. I travel for business regularly and stay at many different hotels across Canada and the US. On this trip I was with my family of four. From the associates at the check in desk, to the workers we engaged with in the halls and elevators, to the wait staff at the restaurant, this service and genuine friendliness is unlike any hotel or resort I've stayed at in many years. The management and staff at this location deserve special recognition because they are truly an exceptionally engaged and friendly group of people. "Very impressed. For an older property it’s very well kept. Not luxurious but for a budget property that’s not what we were expecting. Our room was quite large, very clean and well equipped. The bathroom fixtures were a bit outdated but very clean and everything worked. We were in a pet friendly room and it was a nice touch to find pet bowls waiting. Also the handwritten welcome note on the desk was a cute touch. Would definitely recommend this property."
