"Location was great and very walkable - maximum 15 mins to anything we wanted to see. Be wary on a Friday / Saturday night if on the front of the building as very noisy in the street until the early hours. Staff very friendly and helpful - we had no cups for the coffee/tea but they arranged it swiftly for us. Compact room - fine for what we needed. "From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location was also incredibly convenient, with a train station located directly across the street, making it easy to explore the city and beyond. "Nice clean hotel. It is relatively new, you can feel it, which can’t be said about Hiltons in general. * Decently far from Porto, so plan for 20-25 minute travel every time you want to go into town. * Very good breakfast spread, they pamper! * Parking structure is right next door, self parking. "Enjoyed the Hotel and the staff. Room was nice, except bed on the firm side. Service was good except for deceptive advertising about 17:00 to 19:00 Happy Hour at the front of the Hotel. My wife and I made a point to visit the bar during that time and each enjoyed a single cocktail. To our dismay the price was over 31 euros! "We had a wonderful stay here. Loved everything about Pestana Porto - A Brasileira! Staff was wonderful and a real asset to the hotel. Each floor is different themed and smell amazing. Bed was so comfortable. We had a room with a view of the city which was awesome. Definitely would stay here again!"

"The hotel is extremely convenient and right in the middle of everything. Only a few minutes walk from the train station and near countless shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. We had a very pleasant stay. They allow you to store your luggage there if you arrive before check-in time."

"This is a charming, eclectic art oriented hotel. The flower room bar is delightful, a great place for photos. The location is great for sightseeing in the central historic district. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful, kind and fun. We are definitely planning on returning!"

"Lovely older style hotel with a winding wooden staircase up the middle. The elevator/lifts worked well. Service: Great service from the friendly front desk staff. Special shout-out to Vinicius, who was particularly friendly and helpful. Room: The room was on the main floor with a kitchen, living room/lounge, and half bath. Bedroom and full bath one floor down. Very spacious, clean, with cleaning staff every second day. Bathrooms: Half bath was clean and modern. Lower level bathroom had a sink, toilet, shower, and towel drying heater. Modern and clean. Noise Levels: Very quiet. Our room faced the main road, but we didn't notice any noise. Internet: Unsecured, which was concerning. Location: 5-minute walk to the grocery store, 10-minute walk to the major metro station. Great location, 15-minute walk to Ribeira and other attractions. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Amenities: Lovely back courtyard with a pool. Too chilly to use the pool, but enjoyed sitting outside with a drink. Kitchen: Reasonably well-equipped, but the knives were not sharp. No larger style coffee mugs. Value for Money: Good value for the price given its amenities and location. Safety: Felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area. Extras: Small gym and comfortable lounge area. I would definitely return."

"What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. We did breakfast there every day and then walked to the main part of Porto (but we often walk over 20,000 steps a day when we travel -- FYI.)"
