"My husband and I had a wonderful time at Langrish House. We stayed for one night in January. We spent the afternoon relaxing the sitting room by the fire with a glass of wine and then enjoyed a lovely meal at the nearby Seven Stars pub. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area! "

"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...

"The proprietor is a very friendly gent. The property is basically a private home with two rooms (I think) for visitors and two parking spaces...perfect!. The room was comfortable, clean, and very quiet. There was a generous "continental" breakfast (though the term "continental" understate the extraordinarily generous tray delivered to one's room). The property is about a mile from the lovely town center and the cathedral. A comfortable walk if you are capable of walking."

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"
