"We chose Leighton House because it had free onsite parking while still being walkable to the center of town. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Great shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great for us - very quiet with little traffic going by, yet still only ~15 minute easy walk into the town, where we went for a spa visit and dinner. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!"

"It was a lovely stay, staff were really friendly, the rooms were lovely. Only complaint I'd have is when we went to shower the water wasn't hot at all, it was barely warm, this could have been because we showered late in the evening but apart from this this place was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was really yummy and a super quick service."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at Lorne House but my first time since I was a teenager. Bob was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d go as far as to say this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in with a lovely old feel and enormous comfy bed. My partner and I were pleased to come back after a long day in Bath to a luxurious bathroom which was the most well equipped I’ve seen from a B&B. "Lovely place. New owners since September so they are updating all rooms and putting their personal touch on the place. It was in a lovely village and the owners were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing very good produce. If i am in the area again will definitely stay again"

"City centre location was amazing. Our apartment 10 had amazing view of the city as it towers over most buildings. Everything you need is there. Really easy check in and out . Commutation was great from lovey staff. We had a phone call the day before and after we check in. "

"The hotel and staff were excellent but I would point out the food needs to be hotter. We had breakfast and some evening meals and on all occasions the food really wasn’t hot enough. Nothing wrong with the food just needs to be hot not warm "

"Really enjoyed staying here. The staff were lovely! They found out we was here for a Birthday and gave us a free drink voucher to use at the bar and late checkout. The room was spacious and spotless and all the amenities you could need and want. The breakfast choice was was surperb and delicious. The only downside was the amount we paid for parking. We paid £100 pound for a day and a half to park our car. They did give us a discount voucher but we had already paid before we knew they did this, but it would still have worked out at about £75 which i think is still very dear. Despite this we would stay here again but would pay to park outside of the hotel or get a train."

Lovely hotel in a great location

"Really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The location is excellent - only 10 minutes walk from most of the sights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast was very good. Although the hotel doesn't have it's own parking, the Podium car park is right next door."

"Lovely clean twin room, great shower with toiletry dispensers. Complimentary breakfast with good choices. Hotel in central position for exploring. Theatre nearby & plenty of restaurants. Station short walk away, tour buses stop outside. Great choice for our 4 night stay & get together with my best friend 😊"
