"We have never been in a hotel quite like this - an old hunting lodge made by a prince in 1910. It is (way) off the beaten path - access is via a two- mile dirt road. Totally quiet and peaceful - personal attention. There were only two other guests while we were there."

"Mancavi dal paese da oltre trentacinque anni e vi sono ritornato perché ero rimasto affascinato dai paesaggi e dalla affabilità della popolazione, popolazione ancora più che gentile ed accogliente che ti fanno come facente parte di una grande famiglia. "I do not mind that it is pre season. I can appreciate the 1960 atmosphere here. Merely i was happy that i found a room for the night. The lady of the house was very firendly and had to mind another place. But then, living in a deserted hotel with no drinking water and no breakfast (promised) was a little bit too much asked. Maybe in the high season this can be a lively place. Now for 50 euros not worth the money. "

"The place is clean BUT, all the necessities that you needed is not provided, no soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. Pool is close at 8pm, what the heck your on vacation and after a long day outside you want to relax on the pool but it is close. And one more thing no air conditioning, you have to pay 5euro/day. All of these should have provided with no extra cost. "

"Firstly, I am so sorry to read about the fires that are troubling Sicily and Italy at the moment. We really enjoyed our visit to your island and hope to return and explore the East in the future. As to the apartment. The location was great, the Windows opening in all directions was marvellous. My disappointment was in the poor and broken furnishings and the kitchen was not clean. The music from 'Why Not' went on until after 2a.m. but we had to keep all windows open as the air con was not...
