"We decided to rent this place as a surprise get away for husbands bday, house nicely restored, wood fllors charming but they do creek and in some places are missing, bed comfy, kitchen well appointed, towels soft, couch is ok, TV’s are good, easy door access. Hosts fast responders. We were initially intimidated by the neighborhood, worried about car safety was reassured by hosts it is safe. Opted to use close by parking garage which was convenient. It was really loud friday nite lots of sorrding...

"We loved our stay while visiting our nephew who lives in the area. Very clean house with all the amenities. We really enjoyed watching the birds eat at the feeder and the fire pit was perfect for the cool nights. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again when we return for a visit. Also, the Shoofly pie was delicious!!! Thanks!!!"

"This was our third time staying here since January of this year to attend volleyball tournaments at Spooky Nook. It was exactly what we needed. Three athletes and the moms. Much better than staying in a hotel. Space to spread out, a full kitchen to prepare meals to have instead of eating out the whole weekend, definitely more economical to split with three families than individually each staying at hotels for multiple nights. Host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive."

We had room for the 5 children to roam on the playground or in the playroom with the pool table and/or adult time too in the private hot tub setting and/or building a nice fire in the firepit. This quaint home has what you need to keep everybody busy doing something. We also had fun playing board games together. Nice accommodations and close to Sight and Sound Theatre."

"This house was perfect for our family. We stayed Feb 2025, 15 family members. Plenty of room for all. House was immaculate and well stocked - plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Everyone's favorite was the coffee nook - regular coffee pot, Kerig, plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I had to call the host twice while we were there with basic questions - she got back to me right away and was very sweet. Would definitely stay there again. "
