"Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold...

The property owner felt like the uncle in Tennessee I’ve never had! Haha! House is was stocked with household supplies and made it very convenient and affordable to stay! "The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great. "

"This was the perfect fishing cabin for my partner amd I. Very private and safe, great place to park your boat at night. We never eat out so the cabin kitchen was perfect for are evening meals. Highly recommended and I'm planning staying there again when I come back to Tennessee to fish."
