For Can Tho, the largest city in Vietnam's Mekong Delta area, I booked a day tour with Susan, a 26-year-old woman (with perfect English!) from a nearby village. For four hours we biked around Binh Minh (just outside of Can Tho), where we visited beautiful temples, rice fields, and a local market. We then went back to the riverside location for a night in a homestay. I would highly recommend booking with Susan for an authentic Mekong Delta experience. A memorable and pleasant resort to visit in VN.

"As in the many other past visits I’ve made to Victoria Resort in Can Tho, VN., we were as always, extremely impressed and pleased. The employees are so welcoming and friendly from the receptionist to the bellhops making your visit even more memorable. There’s many other great hotel & resort choices in Can Tho, VN, but if you’re looking for a reasonable, budgeted “top notch”, clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing resort for a weekend or longer, then Victoria Resort is a place not to miss! Without a doubt this is one, if not the only one resort in South East Asia out of hundreds, yes I said, hundreds that I’ve stayed at that provides you the best “bang for your buck “. Oh… don’t forget to take an evening walk on the newly upgraded river walk way and then an evening swim in one of two pools. "
