"Excellent pub food and very welcoming staff.The room was quite comfortable once we got it warmed up but some attention should be given to the doors so that they open and close more easily and perhaps add some lighting on the stairs. These are small in the overall scheme of things though. The breakfast at the nearby farm shop was outstanding."

"Perfectly decent pub accommodation, in a separate building set back from the pub which is ideal in case is worried about noise. Fairly basic facilities (note no toiletries are provided) but a nice touch having a small fridge with free bottled water and proper milk for tea/coffee!"

"A wonderful visit to this beautiful, well run and happy pub. Genuinely a delight to spend time here. All the staff are excellent, special recognition to Elijah, Hobbs and Kelly for being above and beyond brilliant. Also, Adam made checking in quick and easy. Car park is handy and the number plate system is very simple to use. Food was delicious (we ate in both evenings) and the chef was very happy to accommodate our special dietary needs. "From the moment we arrived we were given such a warm welcome. Room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Lovely bathroom, fluffy towels. Plenty tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Best breakfast ever. Loved it and will definitely return. "

I hadn’t booked a table in the restaurant and it was full to capacity but the chef made a delicious light meal for me which I ate in the lounge. Everything about my stay was exceptional. "

"Second time we have stayed at The Plume travelling to/from Cornwall. It is a lovely, comfortable & homely hotel. However, the absolute bonus is their restaurant, the food (small plates/tapas) is excellent, as are the cocktails and wine list. It’s a shame it is not near our home as we would be very regular visitors!"
