"Cleanliness is ok, hotel is a bit aged. BE CAREFUL of the hotel staff. On one of the days they told us it was not possible to get a taxi but they would arrange us one ..... 15 minutes later a illegal taxi turned up arranged by the hotel staff. We where taken to our destination in a old unsafe car, then charged double the amount !!!"

"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. "We wanted something special for our last night of our 2 week road trip and we found it. A lovely place off the main road on a farm. Very comfortable beds and because of the shutters we were able to shut out the early morning sun. So we got a very good night's rest. In the morning we were greeted by our host with a wonderful basket of croissant, bread and pain au chocolat which we were able to eat on the terrace at the back. Thanks you for making this a perfect end to our holiday."

"Great hotel but you need a permit to park outside the hotel which wasn’t apparent. There is plenty of free parking near by. Very few people speak or understand English in Beaugency. You will need basic French to help your stay! Best coffee was at the Cremerie Fromagerie-so good!"
