"This is a really great place to stay in Cairns. The Novotel Oasis is really central and it's easy to walk to loads of great dining and shopping in the town, as well as the Esplanade area. The hotel is really nice, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great, with loads of options."

"The Harborside is a fine spot. It's a bit tired, but it's good value for the money. The AC works very well, so important in this part of the world. The pool is weak, but the place is really best as a one night crash pad. They will try to upsell you on check in, so be ready for that. The front desk staff has an odd air of superiority and importance for the most part. The Duty Manager, I forget his name, was particularly self important. Funny really, I think he instills that in others, because...

"The Flynn is a lovely location on the Esplanade. Great for walking along the water. Lots of dining options in the hotel and surrounding. Splash Seafood was fantastic, as was Just Divine Gelato. Nights Markets are steps away as well!"
