"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"The property is a wonderful little find. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is spotlessly clean and lots of little treats in both the kitchen and bathroom. Barry was extremely responsive to our emails prior to our visit. We were unfortunately delayed on transport when visiting Manchester. The hosts made sure we were safe and were very accommodating to our late arrival. We cannot thank them enough. The railways station is a short walk away and only a short...

"Lovely breakfast provided and thoughtful, ample parking and easy access to the ao arena, taxis and takeaways nearby easily located would reccomend, only thing was working out the heating ! 😀 "

"Great location & useful to have a parking place in town. Quiet although central. Spotlessly clean, comfy & very well equipped. Unfortunately had a problem with our apartment, but manager was extremely efficient in trying to sort. "

"Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night"

"We had a lovely three night stay in the Granary. The cottage was vary welcoming when we arrived and had everything we needed. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the private garden and hot tub. We are hoping to return and would definitely recommend."

"The property was clean. It was a little inconvenient for people staying longer like we did because there was no washing machine. Also there was no mention when booked that there was no lift had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. The parking is on street and can get full. "

"Lovely host, quick response to queries, good location with regards to the university. Walking distance to the pub. The only thing missing was a living room, but we knew that when booked! Great choice on the t.v too netflix and Disney plus. Really nice walks would stay again and recommend 👌 "
