"It is genuine old world charm - it was a pub then a convalescent home and it hasn't been undone - it has used these features. Graeme was helpful. Plenty of parking on site and very comfortable bed. Good hot water and shower. The wifi didn't work upstairs was the only thing."

"Really enjoyed staying at this house. We were all delighted to see horses in the next property, that came right up to the fence. Great facilities, only the bed in the main room wasn't comfortable- we ended up swapping rooms with one of the kids as their beds were firmer."

Its the little things
"Arriving late in the winter, our wonderful hosts had made sure the cottage was ready for our arrival. The little things like heating turned on to take off the chill and having the electric blankets ready for us was a pleasant surprise...immediate smiles on our dials 😁. Weve had the pleasure of staying here before and just like the first time there was no disappointment at all. Everything was stocked and ready to go throughout and we were super impressed with the kitchen in its entirety....crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and even the herbs and spices (we love cooking with flavour so the amount of herbs and spices was more than we could ask for). We love staying here as its historic and so close to our family. Thank you so much, we will certainly be regulars!!!"
