"If you are looking for a great place to stay next to Big Bend, this is it. We took the Emory suite and were so impressed. The kitchen has a small full fridge, induction stovetop, microwave, and toaster oven. The bedroom was large, as was the bathroom. And we enjoyed the living space out by the kitchen too. All in all it was a great 4 days in the middle of our month long trip. It was comfortable and felt like home. Each day we were offered towels, etc, staff was great. Just be prepared for limited resources in the area, groceries were close by but more costly. A new Dollar General was close but was extremely limited. And gas was 1.10 more than 80 miles north in Alpine. Beyond that it was great, thanks to the owners!!"

"Jim’s cabin is built with love and everything inside is functional. We enjoyed our getaway. The cabin was as described. It was safe and complete silence in the evenings. We enjoyed hanging on the porch for sunsets and star gazing. Incredible. We didn’t have cell signal (kinda the point) but his wifi was great when we needed it. He was very responsive to our questions! Really enjoyed our stay! "

"Fantastic stay! Beat all our expectations. The stars, the quiet, totally awe inspiring. So many details in the cabins addressed perfectly. We cooked, grilled and enjoyed our own fire. Great shower, bathroom, WiFi, TV if you must, lol. Highly recommend! AND THE STARS! "
