"Very fun imaginative place! Would definitely stay here again."

"The host was very communicative and gave us local recommendations. Her kitchen was closed but she still made us a pizza as we hadn’t eaten in awhile. She also allowed us to sit in her kitchen 30 minutes early for breakfast and eat about 10 minutes early too. We got our own tiny home to rest in for the two days we stayed. Breakfast at included but dinner cost extra. We will say, the second morning we didn’t eat breakfast there as it was closed for the first opening hour we waited. Check out was easy thankfully, host didn’t open so we honestly hoped she/family were okay as it was different than the hospitality we received the first night/day after. In any case, the entire stay was wonderful and we would choose to come back should we return to Iceland. Her service and nice hotel really stood out as opposed to guest houses or to severely overpriced hotels in the same area. Thank you for having us!"

"Ok, let's just acknowledge right upfront this hotel is a little bit off the beaten path! But the htel is new (opened 2022, I believe), clean, well appointed, comfortable. and quiet And the staff is wonderful. "

"For wanting to see the lava tube and the falls, this location was perfect for us. It all worked out well from a comfy bed to a nice breakfast. Dinner was also excellent. The only downside I can think of is that the rooms seemed a bit smaller than we experience at the other Fosshotel. Other than that, I highly recommend it. "

"Hotel was very cute. Exactly as we expected. Our bathroom door was VERY loud but other than that the whole experience was amazing. The staff was wonderful and very very helpful. Location was beautiful right on the water. Would stay again. "
