"We loved it and the pool was greatly appreciated. A great location for exploring the region...we were out and about five days a week and explored villages, the countryside and what it had to offer. Loved the wildflowers, and later the lavender and the sunflowers. Only issues with the property were the flies, and the erratic wifi. And as older people with reduced mobility, the stairs and handrail were not the easiest. Thank you Anne for a lovely stay in your comfortable and well equipped...

"Das Haus liegt schön auf dem Land, allerdings umgeben von Landwirtschaft, was permanente Beschallung durch Maschinen bedeutet. Der Garten ist naturbelassen, bietet viel Platz und Schatten, eigentlich schön - leider auch ungepflegt. Nicht komplett eingezäunt, für Hundebesitzer etwas nervig da die Hunde des Nachbarn ständig vorm Haus auftauchen. Der Pool ist schön, muss man selbst reinigen, weil der Roboter nur 1x die Woche eingesetzt wird, was natürlich nicht reicht. Das Haus selbst ist...

"Met ons gezin hadden we een prettig verblijf gehad in Ruissas. Het is een heel rustig dorpje, voor de dichtstbijzijnde winkel moet ongeveer een halfuur reistijd gerekend worden. In de omgeving zijn veel mooie uitstapjes te maken."

It is rural and lovely and quiet, but a short drive to nearby villages for restaurants, grocery shopping and sight seeing. "Wonderful house with excellent views. Very tranquil and peaceful. Superbly furnished and finished. Spotlessly clean. A little isolated though in that a car was essential to go anywhere; you can't walk to a restaurant, bar or shop. (Unless you're a very keen walker and don't mind walking along a main road). Friendly and efficient manager, although she can't speak English. She was appreciative though of my garbled attempts at French."

"Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans ce gîte bien équipé. Tout y est (linge, vaisselle, jeux de société...) Lit fait à l'arrivée. Hervé est un hôte fort sympathique, disponible et accueillant.. Vue imprenable sur les montagnes pas de vis à vis, belles ballades à faire autour du gîte. "

"We had an amazing week at La Buisse in July 2018. The property comfortably sleeps 20 people with most of the 10 bedrooms having an en-suite bathroom. The outdoor terrace remains in the shade throughout the day so is ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The built-in BBQ was used extensively as was the large, well-equipped kitchen.
