"The house is in a good location for adventures in Glen Arbor and Traverse City. It was great to have so many towels and everything was clean (agree with other reviewer that more hooks would be helpful in the bathroom). Communication was excellent; very responsive."

"We had an amazing stay in Cedar. The hosts are very kind and accomodating. They took us on a tour of the farm, gifted us a dozen fresh eggs for our stay and a bundle of fresh picked lavendar at our departure. The view of the lake (and farm animals!) from the front porch is great. We enjoyed taking a short walk down to Lake Leelanau to swim and fish daily as well. Our kids ages 14, 11, and 9 had a great time as well!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this barn house style home. We had two little ones with us and we appreciate all the amenities that were thought about for little kids. Even the extra mile of coffee, tea, and snacks were provided in the cabinets. As well as extra toiletries. Perfect for our big family, we enjoyed the bonfire outside and the seating in the front and back patio. Would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"The owner was great and very responsive to any needs we had. My husband, his brother, my sister-in-law and myself, are all late 60's early 70's. Property might not be ideal for some people our age because of uneven flooring. The layout is a bit funky, but such a great location. The front porch is a lovely place to sit and watch wildlife. The outdoor shower turned out to be great fun. The beds were so comfortable, but I would suggest to this owner to go out and purchase new bedding. The bedding...

"Loved the house. Everything was decorated so nicely with antiques and new stuff mixed together. Loved the front porch. When we did eat at the house, that was where we would sit. Loved the little shed out back. Marissa has an extensive CD collection out there with a nice CD player. There’s also a nice garden to sit in right by the shed. It is situated right on the shores of Crystal Lake, within walking distance to town, has a private beach, lots of space and was clean! "the building was built in the 1930s yes its old . what a beautiful house. great porch great kitchen with shiplap walls and ceiling. very functional everything was there frig microwave toaster oven , nice bedrooms shower worked great . great yard firepit with chairs car parking on site .fantastic view of the lake. easy access to town and restaurants in walking distance . we were there to fish. great access to the lake. overall we liked it very much. hope to stay again next year."
