"So peaceful and quiet and everything has been so well thought out. The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. It’s open year round so we’ll definitely be back when it’s colder and we can have the fire going! Wendy was absolutely lovely when we arrived and our daughter made a new friend in her wonderful dog."

"Booked as a surprise for my partner. Arrived after dark which made it feel even more special as felt so secluded and added to the element of surprise. It was amazing to wake to the snore of the pig and the calling of the cute little donkey! The bed is super comfortable, the duvet literally hugs you! Was such a special little break away. "There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. "Great location, amenities and seaside location. Best holiday on my own with the kids in years. If my car hadnt broke down recently we would of been back this year again. Loved it."

Points to improve: a few cobwebs which we got rid of on arrival but would not have expected to have to do so; no microwave - one was listed on the vrbo listing; no separate sink in the food prep area - we had to use the bathroom sink - not ideal.
