"This is a recently renovated property that was a pleasant surprise to stay at considering the price we paid for it. We needed a cheap place to crash after a Cardinals baseball game and, based on reading reviews, I thought that this would at least keep us safe at night. It certainly did, and then some! Yes, the surrounding area is sketchy. It's true. But inside the hotel you have very friendly staff and all clean and updated rooms. Breakfast was far above what I was expecting as well. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, oatmeal, baked goods, cold cereal, and hot drinks. It's not the Hilton, but if you want a clean room, a quiet night, a hot shower, and a good breakfast, you really can't go wrong here. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to St. Louis."
