"The view out the back window and off the balcony are amazing! The house had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. The sauna was a nice treat especially on the cooler fall mornings. It is about 15-20 minute drive from the nearest convenience stores and gas stations but that was never an issue for us as the owners told us this ahead of time and told us where to stop on the way in to avoid needing to head back."

"Great little cabin right on the beach. Clean and well maintained. This was not an issue for us but the master bedroom and only bathroom is up a rather steep set of stairs. We had a great time."

"From the moment we drove up to the property and saw the lake, and then entered the cabin, we were very impressed with this well-cared for vacation spot! It was cozy, clean and comfortable!! It was an easy drive from the cabin up the shoreline to numerous sights to see We hope to come back in the coming year "

"This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this property. We love it! It is a central hub for the area we are hiking. There are trails to be found all around! The property itself is perfect for two people. (i’m sure it’s perfect for more than two people as well.) The kitchen is well provided. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee and coffee maker, toaster… you name it, it’s there! There are plenty of towels for showers. You can do a load of laundry after a wet day of hiking and be in the shower at the same time without danger of the hot water running out! This is a big plus! The television is a Smart TV and we were able to connect to our favorite streaming service and watch a show as our evening wound down. There is even a great restaurant just across the yard. We needed reservations, but calling a few weeks in advance got us in fine. The back deck is excellent! It looks out over a lovely expanse of grass and a huge tree that was in full color. Bette responded to our inquiries within minutes. She never left us hanging! I wish I could gate keep this property, but it would be unfair. I cannot wait until our plans allow us to return again!"

"An absolutely beautiful place to sit still, relax, and get a front row seat to the fall colors of the keweenaw. Lake Superior right across the road from this gem, beach access and near by access to wonderful hiking, and a Nordic spa just up the road a few miles, you couldn’t ask for a better spot to spend your vacation. The house is beautiful and clearly loved by the owners and all those who are lucky enough to visit. Thoughtful amenities and guidance in their welcome book, we had all that we needed and more to figure out what was around us and all the local attractions. We can’t wait to come back and visit again.
