"Great location in Laveno. Our room faced the water and made for great sunsets. Nice bed and bathroom. The staff was pleasant. Parking was easy and we were only a few minutes from town and the ferry. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast, for a fee, was worth it. "

"Beautiful property, we really enjoyed our stay. The property is excellent and the local area is stunningly beautiful. Fully equipped kitchen, nice dining tables outdoors and inside, comfortable. Swimming beach and bars/restaurants 5 minutes walk away; a couple more cafes a few minutes further. Easy vehicle access to the property from the main road (it's before the road becomes one-way, so you don't need to go the long way around by the beach). Cerro is a pleasant village, but doesn't really have much of a shop (some essentials are available at Non Solo Caffè); Laveno-Mombello has all commerces including two supermarkets (Tigros, Coop). Things to note: Varese has a strict recycling program, some things are collected every other week. WiFi connection to your device is decent, but very slow connection to internet - no streaming, slow browsing. Washing machine is in the separate garage annex building - no noise in the main building but audible in the annex bedroom. Bring insect repellent in the summer."
