"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Costabella and were genuinely impressed. Although it’s a three-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations and felt much closer to a four-star experience. The hotel is clearly investing in continuous renovations and upgrades, and it really shows — the rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped, and the landscaping around the pool area is beautifully maintained, making it a great spot to relax. The location is slightly outside the centre of Girona, but we actually enjoyed that — we’re quite active and loved running into town and exploring the nearby trails. It’s also an excellent base if you’re into cycling. The hotel offers secure bike storage with private lockers, which was perfect for our coworking setup while we were there. The gym was the only part that felt a little dated and could definitely benefit from an upgrade to match the quality of the rest of the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — a perfect blend of comfort and practicality. We’d definitely recommend Hotel Costabella and would happily stay again!"

"Poor wifi reception in the rooms, but otherwise a clean and beautiful hotel in a good area. Lobby is under construction, so crowded and not a beautiful check in area at this time."

"Actual hotel was ok but having taking authorisation details earlier while booking I was then charged again at the hotel .Actually two payments were attempted to be taken from my saved debit card ! HSBC contacted me regarding fraud attempts and blocked my card.But even worse than that the female on reception was aggressive and shouted non stop."

"Everything was great. The only problem was that the Expedia booking didn't go through although I did get a confirmation, from Expedia. Fortunately they still had a room available so we got in. It cost me an extra thirty euros though but I was too tired to make an issue out of it, especially as it was Expedia fault according to the receptionist. "
