"The house was very modern and new. The room arrangements were good for our group. One bedroom en-suite was on the ground floor which was nice. The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. Because the area is new there was a lot of road construction with new roads not showing accurately on our GPS. As a result, we had a hard time finding our way in and out of the area during our stay. "Location was great for exploring Caen. The staff is young, energetic and friendly. Very positive hostel experience. Young people and family friendly place. Nice to have options for breakfast, dinner or just a cocktail/ wine at The People. I will for sure check out other locations of The People and my kids will too. "
