"5 girlfriends stayed for a week and it was fabulous ~ We were greeted with a tray of cannelloni’s on the dining room table! The house was clean and spacious. A very quiet country location. We each had our own bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes though it could use more dish towels and some hot pads/oven mitts. It was nice to have a washing machine and clothes line. "This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "

"The villa is located near a small mountain town surrounded by vineyards. It is an absolutely stunning setting. The villa easily sleeps 7 adults and it is large with lots of separate rooms so it never feels crowded.It is filled with art and antiques and whimsical things to discover. There are two outdoor patios, one for outdoor dining and one for sipping wine or snoozing in the hammock.The villa is secure behind a gate and fence with room to park several cars.
