"We felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The free breakfast was very European and delicious. Transportation around the city was free to hotel guests and easy to use. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. "

"Stayed two nights with family. Everything was clean and we had tea coffee in the room. The only strange thing was that the toilet was separate to the shower and sink so you had to go to the toilet then come out and wash your hands in the shower room. I don't know how this arrangement would suit anyone, are they expecting people not to wash their hands after using the toilet? Didn't expect this from novotel but otherwise we had an amazing stay. There's ample parking on site, you do have to pay extra for it though. It's close to transport links and not far from any of the restaurants and sites we went to. It was absolutely freezing with heavy fog the whole time we were there but the room was always cosy and hot water available, no issues. We didn't eat anything at the hotel so cannot comment on it but the dining and reception areas downstairs have very nice decor and ambience. Check in and check out was a breeze and all staff were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if I visit Bern again. "

"The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful. The hotel was steps away from the train station which was perfect when dragging around our luggage. The hotel is also in a great location for exploring the Old city. I would recommend it."
