"What a great experience at Coolfont Resort! The staff was really great-helpful and friendly. The cabin was perfect for us. The only thing missing was a coffee cup. Just a mention...there is a lot of "empty space" in the cabin. It looks exactly like the pictures, had everything it said but I wonder if there would be room for a small couch or sitting chair and/or storage in the bathroom. Its spacious, clean, neat and comfortable the way it is but having just a little more might be great!"

"My fiancé and i had a wonderful time here. right in the heart of Berkley Springs, is is convenient to shopping, galleries and the famous hot springs. Tom was a 5-star host! He greeted us at the door, guided us to room and couldn't have been nicer, more friendly or professional. We both felt like family here. The room was elegant, with a gas fireplace, comfortable four-poster bed, and private bath. Breakfast was wonderful, off a patio where Tom grows some of the veggies that find their way into our omelets. Tom, it turns out it's also a great cook! The establishment has a lot of religious artifacts on display, part of a vast collection assembled by the previous owner, Maria who used the building for a restaurant. Tom and Marie, his wife took over after Maria couldn't run the restaurant and turned it into a B&B. I do recommend this property especially compared to the traditional chain hotels in the area that charge about the same price for a whole lot less ambience."

"Wonderful solitude for a relaxing stay. Comfortable bed and nice amenities. Able to enjoy the stars while in the hot tub or sitting around the fire ring. Great host."

"Beautiful cabin. Updated photos are accurate but the space is even bigger in person. Hot tub and fire pit were great. House is clean and well equipped. Would stay again in a heartbeat. "

"Group of friends had a wonderful weekend together here! Hiked in nearby Cacapon park, cooked meals together in the well equipped kitchen, played games by the fire and enjoyed the hot tub several times. Under the stars was just magical! Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Loved the view out the back deck! Can't see any neighbors so it feels very secluded. "

"We had a wonderful weekend at Buck Haven. Janie and Cy, the hosts have thought of everything to make for a perfect weekend stay. The cabin is so comfortable and the views are amazing. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. Check in and out is very easy and they were very flexible. This was the second time we have stayed there and we hope to be able to do it again next year."

"This was an excellent cabin in the woods to stay at. It’s close enough to town but far enough to feel like you were having an outdoor cabin experience. The host was fantastic and very helpful."
