"We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a week skiing in Norway. The hotel had a great location in the city in easy reach of the light rail, train and bus routes. The family room was a great layout and very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and their spoken English was great. The cleaners always spoke when we passed them in the corridor which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing - the best we have had in a city hotel in a long time. The restaurant atmosphere was calm and relaxed...

"Very impressed. Older style location loved the decor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was a junior suite very spacious, clean and comfortable. Meal in restaurant, enjoyed the baked salmon and dessert warm apple cake. Great location just near the train terminus and walking distance to shopping."

"This is a grand 18th century hotel located in the heart of old town near the pier and historic sights. This hotel is currently under renovation. Appreciate the effort to update the hotel. Our room had a very strong smell from recent rennovation so the staff gratuitously moved us to a suite at no cost. The hotel also includes breakfast, afternoon snack, and light dinner. "
