"Just returned from a lovely holiday at Bovisand. The views across Plymouth sound were amazing and the kids had a great time. Everything was just as described and our hosts were everything you could ask for. I only had very minor issues. The first being the road into the estate is not for the faint hearted, very narrow single track road with limited visibilty. Had a couple of near misses with drivers driving too fast. "We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀"

"Lovely modern, light and very comfortable accommodation throughout with pretty much everything you need although there was no washing machine. My personal preference would be a washing machine rather than a dish washer, but this is a very minor issue. I understand from the host that a washing machine is planned to be installed. "We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ta Mill. There were plenty of activities for everyone. The fact that we could use the washing machines and tumble dryer was a life saver. The chalet was excellent and any request was dealt with immediately and happily by the staff. We would definitely stay there again!"

We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet!
