"What a relaxing stay! If you have a big tattoo that can’t be covered up, you cannot use the guest onsen. You can reserve a private onsen instead — request it when you check in. The yukata were comfortable and you can select the appropriate size for you. They also had face wash and face lotion in the room which was a nice surprise. The traditional breakfast and dinner were great: healthy and delicious. I wish we had stayed longer! "

"Lovely ryokan. Excellent fixed-course meals (both Japanese and western). As with most traditional Japanese inns, there is little flexibility when it comes to their set ways (such as asking for a cup of coffee with breakfast, when you are only offered tea…can not do). The area surrounding the inn is also quite industrial and unattractive. But it is within easy walking distance of Beppu’s main attraction—the Hells of Beppu hot springs."

"It's a nice hotel with hot spring on the 3rd floor. The location is convenient. You can easily walk to Beppu station, or You Me Mall. There is a Lawson across the street and there are also few supermarket nearby."
