"This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. "

"My husband and I enjoyed staying at the end very much from the very moment we arrived. Glenn greeted us with a big smile and offering any kind of help and assistance we needed. We stayed in the loft apartment, which was absolutely beautiful. Had everything we needed and decorated beautifully. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "We really enjoyed our stay . The property was clean, modern, great WiFi etc.We had everything we needed, except a wisk for pancakes which a fork easily replaced. The neighborhood is quiet and good for short walks, 1 loop about 1.2 miles. We enjoyed a little hiking which was very close. Overall a nice place to spend a few days. Likely even better in the spring, summer, and fall."
