"Doc was courteous and kind! The location was perfectly placed between Brandon and Middlebury. I was extremely cozy despite the cold and snowy weather outside. Doc helped me get out of the driveway without having to worry about the snow. The property, with all of its charm and age, was exceptionally cleaned and comfortable. My dog was also a welcome friend at this property, making my trip easy to navigate.. I would love to return!"

"While visiting our son at Castleton we stayes at this property instead if the usual hotel. So glad we did. Nice little area where we couldtakr a walk down along the water, they have a basketball hoop out back we used as well. we spend very little time in the room, vut while there it was very clean. "It was convenient to a haunted castle in Proctor, downtown shopping in Rutland, and a gondola ride to the top of the mountain in Killington (it's also a ski resort). Venetia was extremely friendly. The room was clean, comfy, cozy, warm and quiet. But, bring a computer if you want to watch a movie ... no TV's. The main house is open 24/7 to use and they offer snacks/coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The outside is beautiful and there's a hot tub. They also start you a campfire! Very nice!"

It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary.
