"My check-in was... "interesting"! I arrived in Saigon after midnight due to a late night flight, but despite sending a message to the hotel regarding this, no one seemed to be aware of my late arrival or even my reservation. The owner arrived from a a different location and she gave me a lift on her moped to another hotel. The room I was offered is outstanding, featuring very stylish interior design, space and peace! Possibly one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in and easily compensated...

Die Zimmer haben ihre besten Tage hinter sich, sind aber sauber und zweckmäßig. Pool - haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da es kein Chlor gibt und das Wasser nicht gefiltert wird. "This property doesnt exist. We arrived after having an approved booking and paying in full to find it locked. After 30 minutes of ringing the bell and waiting for someone to let us in, a very kind gentleman came downstairs and explained that it had new owners and no longer was a hostel. It is a long term rental. This was not the first time this issue had occured though. This listing needs to be removed immediately. I have yet to receive a refund. "

"This hostel is my worst experience. First of all the reception guy was so rude and didn't care about anything. By the way he always take more money than the real value of the room. It was so annoying. The room was so dirty. The breakfast was banana and coffee that's all. Omg crazy hostel. Everything was so dirty. And the hostel is located in underground area and far away from city center. End of the day, I couldn't manage and i changed the hostel."

"The room wasn't a room. It was like presidential suite. It has seperate living area and an independent maid's room. I was at 8th floor and the river view was stunning. A hotel room that one can only able to see in a 007 movie. The staff members are all well trained and to bell door man always greet you at the main entrance door. I paid a little over $50, but it was my best $50 spent in my entire life, i am a 62 years old man. I've been all over the world, so I know what I am talking about. I...

"Latest stay at Alagon, always fantastic value. Quaint boutique hotel, excellent location in the heart of District 1, 3 min walk to Ben Thanh market and the receny opened Metro. Lovely staff, clean, quaint, very nice food, excellent massage in the Spa. Often some free maasage or food voucher. Fantastic gem of a hotel in heart HCMC"

"This hotel is all about location—right in the heart of the city, with easy walking access to many attractions. Taxis will get you to sites farther out. It has a 5-star reputation and generally lives up to that reputation. My wife and I have stayed here every time we have visited HCM city, usually for more than one day, and would look to do so any future stay in the city. By Vietnamese standards, it costs a bit more compared to other hotels in the area. Compared to hotel rates in the U.S., however, it is a great deal for a room that is more spacious than your average hotel in VN, with a fabulous buffet breakfast available to boot. What’s not to love about all this?"
