"Staff was very friendly and helpful for check-in during after hours. Place was really clean and nice, really worth the price. Coffee (good quality!) and water bottles are always available in the kitchenette. Breakfast included is from a restaurant downstairs and they have really good coffee and pastries. "Situation in Ortigia in an area of narrow, interesting lanes full of restaurants and local businesses is fascinating. Very much an atmosphere of Sicilian Ortigia. Room was very clean and modern with aircon and good bathroom. Roof garden where breakfast is served is attractive but the breakfast itself is average. There is a car park quite close at the marina but it is very expensive. Satnav finding the loction was quite useless. Important to contact the owner before arrival."

"We booked one of a room they have , but the air conditioner didn't work. Hopefully, another room was free, they moved us in, but the same problem. Also, the second room looked a bit outdated. "Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."
