We regularly stay at this hotel while in BH for a day or two when visiting the wife's family...Good opportunity to relax for a night before heading home. They've been through a few ownerships over the years (and some renovations were being undertaken in the dining area, so jackhammering during the day....Thank God not at night)....Breakfast and overall service was good, staff not overly friendly with smiles but adequate.

When we visit family in BH, we always want our last night before heading home to be peaceful, relaxing, etc. (Draw your own conclusions)....This hotel fits the bill. Also VG wi-fi and cellphone reception (from the 9th floor, at least); my T-Mobile service works in cahoots w/VIVO and - at lower elevations - reception has been poor. Worked great here

Generally quiet when you face the main street, Rua Boaventura, but much noisier if you're facing either side or rear of the hotel.....Understandably beyond their control, but with noisy neighbors (a couple bars, small club) like these, better to get a room that faces the front.

A good bargain if you're in the area....Very reasonable price, room was decent, breakfast was really good (considering these Covid times). Only complaints are: 1) They hadn't changed the AC filter (flashing light indicated as such) and 2) One out of the two electric outlets at the desk didn't function...couldn't use multiple devices at same time.

Great view and not on too busy of a street. Hotel staff were always very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was excellent. And the room very clean. I loved my stay there.

Good hotel near UFMG
This is a good hotel to stay within walking distance from the university (UFMG). Some staff speak English, others communicate via google translator. All the staff is very friendly and they try their best to help. The area is uninspiring, but safe, just like most of the city.

O hotel tem boa localização para quem vai à UFMG. O atendimento é muito simpático e atencioso, também é muito limpo. Mas poderiam caprichar renovando os travesseiros e comprando lençóis de baixo que conseguissem cobrir todo o colchão. Outra coisa é o café da manhã, que é bastante variado mas os produtos são comuns e todos industrializados. Só no último dia teve queijo minas. Não tinha nada mais caseiro, nenhuma compota ou doce de leite. Não precisaria ser nada sofisticado, é um hotel mais simples, mas é interessante priorizar a qualidade e não s quantidade. É certo que o café estava gostoso, tinha uns bolinhos bons, as frutas deliciosas, mas, é Minas uai, é sempre bom valorizar a cultura alimentar local.

Já fiquei hospedada mais de uma vez, e agora foi melhor que a anterior, já que o quarto não estava com tanto mofo (mas estava um pouco). É um local confortável, mas acho que pode melhorar muito em relação ao café da manhã, que não tem variedades salgadas e demoram um pouco pra repor, e melhorar também nos preços em geral. Pelo valor da diária, acho que poderia ter mais conforto e mais opções. Inclusive, me preocupa muito o barulho do elevador… O local da piscina é bem pequeno, mas legal. Limpeza ok.
