"Julie and Gary are very friendly. Upon checking in, Julie gave us a quick tour of the town and showed us the good places to eat. She provides us beach towels for our ATM tour and is available thru whatsapp calls. The apartment is clean and has a lovely view of the river. Their house is very close to the heart of San Ignacio- less than 10 minutes of walking. I highly recommend it."

"Upon checking in the owner was nasty and rude and disrespectful, I would not recommend this place, it smells horrible and the room was dirty."

"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. "The staff are friendly, willing to help and they are able to set up tours and taxis for you. We liked the restaurant in the resort and found it to be delicious. We also liked that the pool was opened late. They have a great bar, cafe and gift shop as well. We stayed in one of the Cabanas and there is a hammock so you can enjoy the spectacular view from the enclosed porch. We would definitely stay again."

Nice Place to Disconnect

"We wanted to disconnect a little and experience the rainforest and we could not have had a better place to stay. The cabana was beautiful, well unkept, and had everything we need. The staff was excellent and the food from the restaurant was more than we could eat. Tons of beautiful plants and birds, and the creek was a really nice place to relax and float. "

"Beautiful property in a surreal environment. The staff was wonderful, and the fiod was excellent! We gad a ruver view room, whichbwas amazing. Only down side was we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Other than that no issues. Marvin, a tour guide, was the best! So very nice and professional with a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna, history, etc. "

"Bungalows are private. Flowers and towel art every day. Great food. The garden walk and open air greenhouse was amazing and very educational. Great for families and lots of options for excursions or just relax by the pool or kayak on the river."

"All of the staff go above, and beyond their duties, to ensure that the guests have the best experience. I enjoyed walking around the property. I took the plant and edibles tour on the property. The food in the restaurant is very good. It’s definitely worth staying there, for the experience."
