"We rented this home for a group of 10 friends and overall we enjoyed our stay. The theater room upstairs is by far the highlight, but the pool table and hot tub were also well used. The home is definitely a little neglected. It almost seems like a model home that was never lived in but the garage shows signs of a full time resident. "Enjoyed the quaint little cottage on the River. Close to Wheeling and local winery which we enjoy. Clean and welcoming atmosphere in the cottage and the host was friendly and we had good communication. Pizza Express is just down the road for takeout and we liked their fresh homemade dough.Overall a nice experience at this location."

"Lovely historical house, with all the amenities. Cute general store with beer and delicious breakfast sandwiches. We absolutely love staying here! We are conflicted, we want to keep it our secret little hide away so it stays open for us, but the hosts and house are so amazing we had to leave a good review! 10/10!"

"The views are beautiful. We loved the big wrap around porch and utilized it most of the time. It does have a hillside to get to the firepit which might make it difficult for some. The kids of all ages had a great weekend together. There are many spices to accommodate any meal. It was a much needed family weekend!"

"The place was centrally located in the heart of Woodsfield. It had all the necessary things you need for cooking and entertainment for kids. The house was in great condition for whatever you wanted to do to just relax and enjoy yourself. I would recommend this place and book it again when I’m in the area "
