"Had a lovely, pleasant stay at Marshall Meadows Manor House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a good size and very clean albeit for a few cobwebs in the corners but a very small criticism. Amazing scenery around and so close to local amenities in Berwick. The breakfast that was included with the room was delicious and a good variety of food to choose from. Get a table next to a window if you can for lovely views of the coast with your breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Value for money. Yes it’s on the A1 but don’t let that bother you. Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks "

"Nice and clean hotel. Perfect location and walking distance into amble. Decent food when we ate in the hotel on sat night although a few items had run out. Breakfast was buffet style but decent choice. Great place to stay if you have a dog with ground floor rooms with outside access.Mattress very hard but would stay again."

"Our host, Mark, was fabulous. Mark provided us with detailed check in information in advance of our stay and great tips on how we could make the most of our stay in Bamburgh. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and top notch. Thank you for a lovely stay Mark. We will certainly be back for another holiday "

"The cottage suited us perfctly. Weather was cold and grey outside, but as soon as we turned the heating on inside, and got the solid fuel stove going, we were as toasty as could be. Cottage had everything we needed - super soft beds, comfy sofas, wel-equipped kitchen, endless hot water, and plenty of space for 4 grown-ups. Had the weather been better it would be been lovely to sit out in the garden and enjoy the view - and you can see the over to the sea from the front - but the view from the conservatory was super in any case. Just to note that the cottage is about a mile from the village of Belford itself, so a car is needed. All in all highly recommended, and would certainly come back."
