"I would give this place 12* out of 10. We really enjoyed our stay, the property is full of character and the owner Umit did everything and more to make us feel welcome and cosy. The fireplace downstairs was a great place to cozy up at, the lady of the house cooked us a great dinner and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Entrance to Assos Agora is less than 2 minutes walk up the hill, along a cobbled stone path lined with booths full of local souvenirs. I would absolutely recommend this place."

"Absolutely stunning location overlooking the harbour of Assos! The proprietor instructed us where to park and invited us to his restaurant directly on the water. His restaurant is the only one on it's own dock, covered and heated. The food was delicious! The village is quaint and we had a nice stroll afterwards complete with a stunning sunset. There are many restaurants in the Village and a tiny convenience store. The only thing lacking in the room was a little table and chair, but I improvised with an end table and the goreous wood and stone window sill!"

"We loved our stay at Assos Taş Konak! From the moment we arrived, they were accommodating and allowed us to change our room. We came off season so it felt like the whole place was ours.They made us feel so welcome and at home. We loved the location, it’s close enough to everything but also far enough to make it feel like you’re on a quiet island. The Assos ruins, Temple of Athena, Murat Hüdavendigar Mosque and many local eateries/restaurants are about a 15 min walk and 4 min drive. Assos Taş Konak is truly a gem and an authentic family run business with a great home cooked breakfast each morning made by the owner. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for everything! "
