The hotel is physically excellent, spacious rooms, landscaped grounds, huge pool, kids stuff etc.
The breakfast buffet is excellent - but the staff?! Just dreadful, never a greeting when one enters for breakfast, just, if you're lucky, a nod of the head from the waiter. Are they trained like this, not to be nice to the guests? The two main things one really remembers from a hotel are the food and the staff - top marks for the (breakfast) food, lowest possible marks for the staff. We avoided the restaurant for every other meal, fortunately there are several outlets within easy walking distance.
The exceptions were Emir, the bag-carrying chap, and the lovely, smiley room attendants - top marks for them!
