"Green plaza is very safe area all day long. Nice and clean, shopping, dining, cafe all there. Just bit off of tourist areas, but i had no problem at all. Staffs are super kind that i book 2nd reservation right after my 1st stay. Note: part of the rooms under renovation. Over all if you are lay back like me you will enjoy here"

"First of all, this is an old and very historic hotel. Do not expect all mod-cons! That said, staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to please. Our room was large and overlooked the Corniche so was noisy until about 2am (as expected!) but compensated for by the view, the proximity to old downtown, amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Monty’s bar very “old English” with live music after 9pm. Good food and drinks, attentive staff. But it’s smoking - and Egyptian cigarette smoke clings and lingers!"

"I was given a free upgrade to a full ocean view suite (up from a deluxe ocean view, I think) which provided a huge suite with an expansive view of Alexandria and the ocean. The buffet breakfast was very good, except it was very crowded on the first morning. Highly recommended."

"Everything was great. Hotel is a bit old but clean and nice. Didnt like that i had to leave village to explore other restaurants or to do activities. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Breakfast was also great and had ebough varieties of food."
