"Lovely positioned hotel right on the beach we had a sea view from our room which was really wonderful. The leisure facilities were great too we used the indoor swimming pool and sauna. The food we had in the bar was really good and breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here we will visit again for sure. "

"A one night stay on a wet and windy weekend in January. After booking, the hotel phoned to say that they were actually closed that night but they could give us the same price at their other hotel, The Palace. All we were looking for was a room for the night; we really didn't expect it to be such a stunning room with a prime view. We would have been very happy with anything, but this was really superb. Whilst this review can't really tell you about the Queen's Hotel, it tells you a lot about the high standard of service and customer care that they give."

"Always a cracking stay. But we did have something stolen from our wallet on a previous stay which we know was from a male room cleaner. We couldn’t be bothered to report it. But beware, dont leave valuables around. "

"The hotel is fairly new and therefore really modern and clean. There is a spa on site which is ideal after a days walking. The free shuttle bus into the heart of Salcombe is a great idea as the walk does involve a few steep hills although this is how we travelled into Salcombe most days. The hotel is right on the beach and is in a very quiet location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If like us you come here in the winter and you want to walk in and out of Salcombe then remember to take a torch with you as it is pitch black and a mobile may not be sufficient."

"We had a lovely view towards Torquay theatre & harbour from our room. Breakfast was buffet style with hot & cold options. We ate in the Brasserie/Compass Bar area for our evening meals. Food was not cheap, but it was delicious! Had the lightest sticky toffee pudding ever! Room was a decent size with a shower over the bath. Tea & coffee making available in room/supplies refreshed. Hotel was nicely decorated fir Christmas. Staff were very helpful - thank you! "

"This is a great getaway hotel. It's just outside Torquay with views out over the bay and around the corner from meadfoot. The hotel has a mini spa which is perfect for unwinding. Proper full breakfast in restaurant with views over the bay."
