"The property was unique. It is an old/ historic property. Some of the furnishings are old and torn such as the desk chair. The furniture needs steam cleaning. Bed in the primary was like sleeping on a hammock. The pillows were old but sheets were clean and duvet was good Bathrooms were dated."

It's walking distance to a number of attractions, namely the Southsea Castle, D-Day Story Museum, and Clarence Pier. It was easy to take Uber to visit other attractions outside Southsea. "My husband and I have been on a three-week holiday and during that time, have stayed in 4 or 5 different properties. While all were more than adequate, this property had everything going for it. It was the best appointed, the best provisioned, the roomiest, the most comfortable and homelike of any of the properties. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see and experience. I could easily live full time in this apartment and consider it my home."
